We tour the battlefields of Fromelles and the first actions of the Australians on the Western Front on 19 – 20 July 1916.
After a day and a nights fighting 1,500 British and 5,533 Australians were killed, wounded or taken prisoner. It was a decisive victory for the Germans without the Allies gaining any ground.

We visit the new cemetery at Pheasant Wood, Cobbers memorial, VC Corner, the museum in Fromelles and le Trou Aid Post cemetery.
